Though it sounds incredible, you really can eat foods that block fat. These foods have soluble fiber. It is the fiber that helps one to loose weight. High fiber foods are also rich in nutrition, which is an added bonus. Fiber is the tough, structural part of fruits, vegetables, grains and legumes. Since foods that are high in fibers are filling, they are powerful tools for managing weight. These food types are also low in fats and sugars. A high-fiber diet helps maintain levels of energy throughout the day which helps to get rid of fat. It is advised that a person should have 25 to 35 grms of fiber each day. That means approximatley three amounts of vegetables, two of fruit, three of entire grain foods, three of refined-grain foods, and one of beans. Munch on fruits and veggies that start with an "A. " These are apples, apricots and avocados. Much of an apple's power is in the skin, which contains quercetin, an antioxidant which helps prevent cells from being ruined. An apricot's power comes from carotenoid content. Carotenoids are the pigments that color the skins of some fruits and fruit and vegetables. This pigment helps to protect the eyes and heart. Oats have diet fiber that traps nutritional cholesterol and rids it from the body. To get the most dietary fiber from wheat, it is important to get foods containing wheat germ or whole wheat that has the outer more nutritious regions of the grain. It also helps the heart and rids the body of cholesterol. Bulgur is just grain in it's whole form. Bulgur is a top dietary fiber source and is full of minerals like iron, phosphorous and zinc.
- Chew on carrots, berries and melons. Carrots are loaded with beta-carotene, which converts to vitamin A in the body helping the eye. Berries and melons are low in calories and have soluble fiber which helps move stuff through the intestines.
- Recession nuts and flaxseed. Along with fiber, nuts are loaded with protein. They are excellent at stopping center disease. The trick with eating nuts is not overdoing it because they are high in calories from fat. Flaxseed has omega-3 fat that fight inflammation within the body.
- Pop pears, peas and potatoes into your mouth. Pears have boron in order to keep bone healthy. The dietary fiber in a pear also rids cholesterol in the body. Peas have dietary fiber and many nutrients. Spud fiber is excellent, particularly if skin is left on when you eat it. Taters are a major fat blocker, without the butter and sour cream. A fairly sweet potato is fantastic because it is filling and is filled up with vitamnins.
- Take in beans and brown hemp. Beans are the ultimate power food. They are packed with fiber and are filling. They are great for folks with diabetes because they help control glucose levels. Brown grain is nutritious and has a lot of dietary fiber. When the outer coating is stripped, it will not have as much fiber and is also known as white hemp.
